The Festival of Polish Poetry “Wierszowisko” in Great Britain has been adopted in 2012 from Holland.
Each year the contest has a theme which defines a type and a style of chosen poems. The Grand Finale takes place at the POSK Theatre in London. The “Wierszowisko” Polish Poetry Festival is run in two categories: individual and team performance. All participants receive certificates, medals and prizes. The winners get valuable prizes and trophies. The jury consists of well-known stage & theatre personalities both from Poland and Great Britain, who share experience and add value to the contest.
Our school has taken part in this very popular contest for the past 3 years. In 2012 we won a trophy in a group category.
